Unintentional injury: Injury that results from circumstances that were unplanned or not intended to happen, such as motor vehicle crashes, fires and drownings. In many settings, these are termed "accidental injuries". See also Injury and Intentional injury.

Universal: Intervention approaches that are designed to favorably shift risk and/or protective factors across a whole population.
